Biography

Nels Nelson is a professor of labor relations. His teaching interests include collective bargaining, labor law, and labor economics. Many of his students now hold important positions with companies, unions, and government as well as academic positions. Professor Nelson has been an active arbitrator, fact finder, and mediator for more than 30 years. He is on the arbitration panels of the American Arbitration Association, the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, and the State Employment Relations Board and serves on numerous permanent arbitration panels in the private and public sectors.
